Spring Term: After School Art Program at Petite Forêt Play Café

Theme: "PETITE FORÊT"

For ages: 3-5 years
10:15am - 11:30am 
TWO classes per month
Small classes of up to 8 children

• April 7, 14 
• May 12, 26
• June 2, 9

The program is led by an experienced art educator who is passionate about helping children explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills. The classes are held in a safe and nurturing environment that allows children to freely express themselves and have fun while learning.
 

Each day starts with snack time and 15min doodle and play time to get into the creative mindset. Then lessons with demonstrations are led by our awesome staff on specific art techniques and mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and much much more. During each activity children will have the opportunity to work on their own projects, with the support and guidance of the instructor. The program encourages children to experiment with different materials and techniques, and to develop their own unique style. 

In addition to the technical skills, the program also focuses on helping children develop social emotional awareness through developing their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. They will learn how to analyze and interpret art, as well as how to give and receive constructive feedback.
