Potting Class: Winter Veggies and Plants

After-school drop-off gardening enrichment program for children ages 5+ at Petite Forêt Play Café

Join us for our brand new After School Gardening Program at Petite Forêt! Learn how to properly pot your seeds, decorate flower pots, build your own planter ...and watch your seedlings grow! 

Let your child immerse in gardening, let them discover expert tips and techniques from Philio Oulton, President of Kitsilano Seed-Savers Network, to cultivate a thriving winter garden.

In this class students will not only be working with gardening materials and see their own seedings grow, but also build vast knowledge of each class topic with presentations and work-book materials. 

8 Class outline: 

• Build own wood planter
• Mandala Rock painting 
• Flower Planting 
• Vegetable Planting 
• Potato Heads 
• Wind Chime Project 
• Flower pot decorating
• Fairy Garden build and design 

January 15 - March 12 !
Every Wednesday. No Class Feb 19. 
3:30-5:00PM 

Upon completion of the program students will receive a Green Thumb award certificate. 

Option for an exta 30min to 5:30pm at $10 per class.
